Phil Laak mad history in Vegas!
Phil "The Unabomber" Laak set a new Guinness World Record for the most hours of poker played in a single sitting when he finally stopped playing on Saturday June 5th, 2010 after playing for 115 hours straight.
For this monumental event, Unabomber Poker awarded prize packages to two lucky winners who were flown to Las Vegas where they stayed at the Bellagio and both had a chance to play heads-up against the completely sleepless Laak.
Winner #1:
The first trip went to the winner of the Unabomber Freeroll – “See Phil Laak make history in Vegas!” Congratulations to Gytis Bernatavicius of Lithuania who will be flying out to face down the Unabomber at the Bellagio.

Winner #2:
The second trip went to the best 100-250 word submission telling why they should get a chance to play against a sleep deprived Unabomber. This prize went to Daryl Waite. You can read Daryl’s submission
here.

Winner #3:
The third prize – a random draw - went to Matt Brown. Unfortunately, Matt tells us he will be unable to attend.
Laak started the poker endurance challenge on June 2
nd at noon Las Vegas time, and continued to play all the way through till Saturday morning. He shattered the current world record of 78 straight hours of playing poker which was set by Paul Zimbler in the fall of 2009.
