Huh? All the pre lim events at the Bellagio are rebuys?

I just checked out the Bellagio sched for April....

Why are there so many rebuy events?  I don't get it.  From March 30th to April 16th the Bellagio is hosting 17 pre-lim events to the 25k WPT Mega Phat Final Event.  The final event is (obv) just no limit hold em... no rebuys... but I don't understand why ALL the pre-lim events are all rebuys.

For the pre-lims there are 15 nlh rebuy ones and 2 plo rebuy ones.... (all 1000 + 80 to enter)

Hmmmm...

I vaguely recall someone mentioning this awhile ago... I am sure that this is one of those things where I am the last to know and it is mega old news...
