So far Darvin Moon has rejected bids from online poker sites to wear their logos. He is entering the 2009 WSOP Final Table as the chip leader and he got there without any sponsorship deals.
In an interview with Lacey Jones for Bluff, Moon explained his reason for not wearing a patch. Apparently he’s “laid back and doesn’t want to be tied to anything.”
OK, fair enough.
But there will be plenty of online poker sites who obsessively sponsor the hell out of every visible inch of players on any TV table. They will definitely be dangling plenty of carrots in front Moon over the next few months. It'll be interesting to see if he bites.
